I love muffins, because they’re like little cakes and you can really make them in a thousand ways. Today, however, per your request in the comments section of this blog, I wanted to make chocolate banana muffins with cocoa.

Although you probably heard of muffins with cocoa, there are so many different ways you can make them. Cocoa powder is the perfect replacement for regular type of powder and in combination with chocolate banana, your muffins will be absolutely delicious.

Juicy, fragrant and soft, muffins are made to be enjoyed. You can enrich them with additional flavors as desired, pour chocolate over them, maybe decorate with chocolate ganache or decorate them for any occasion.

Chocolate Banana Muffins With Cocoa Powder

To get started with my recipe for these chocolate banana muffins with cocoa, follow my instructions below.

Chocolate Banana Muffins With Cocoa

  • 4 bananas
  • 120 ml almond oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp vanilla paste
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • 140 g coconut sugar
  • 190 g almond flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 100 g milk chocolate drops/chopped chocolate

  1. Start preparing your chocolate banana muffins with cocoa by preheating the oven to 180C and only then start making muffins.

  2. In the meantime, put the baskets in the muffin tin, if you use silicone then you don’t even have to.

  3. Mash the bananas and add the other ingredients from the list.

  4. Mix everything well and fill the baskets to 2/3 with the mixture.

  5. Bake them for about 15 minutes, depending on the oven, being careful not to overdry them.

  6. That's it! Your cocoa chocolate banana muffins are ready to be served.

Once you’re done, your chocolate banana muffins with cocoa powder may look similar these on the photo below! For your milk chocolate or chocolate drops, you can use whatever products fit your taste. If you decide to use other types of powder aside from cocoa powder, your muffins will still look (and taste!) great.
