Baked Oatmeal Without Baking Powder

For a change from the usual oatmeal try making this baked variant without baking powder. I am sure it will delight you.

I have prepared baked oats on several occasions and I was delighted every time. So much so that I had to put the recipe for baked oats in the cookbook. But preparing baked oats without baking powder is a little bit different and it involves experimenting with different kind of flavors. You can add spices as desired – such as cinnamon, nutmeg etc.

Also, I did not put sweeteners in these because my chocolate drops are sweet enough, but feel free to add if you like sweeter. I definitely recommend maple syrup, which you can later pour your baked oats.
